Jill Botticelli Cabal is a church historian and certified archivist specializing in Baptist history, with a particular focus on Texas Baptist heritage.
She holds a Ph. D. from B. H. Carroll Theological Seminary at East Texas Baptist University. Her research and writing center on the history, theology, and development of Baptist institutions and communities. She is the author of numerous journal articles, chapters in collected works, as well as the book Founding Faculty of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Botticelli Cabal regularly presents academic papers, leads workshops, and speaks at conferences, churches, and public events. Passionate about preserving Baptist history, she works to bridge historical scholarship and the church.
